The Bones of Interior Design
The Selby is a site that showcases the homes and studios of creative people from around the world. A recent spot on Vincent Darre - an interior and furniture designer
at his home and store - in paris is both breathtaking, and somewhat eerie.
I love the strong use of colour and shape in his drawing room...and even just that he has a drawing room.
Hope you enjoyed it! I know it took me away for a little bit!

Again, a strong use of colour, but if you look closely at his vignettes, you can see where things become a little odd...
Notice the oversized bones that make up the nightstands, next to the lovely bed?
Here you can see fully what I mean. Cute study...besides what it is he loves to study. To each their own, I guess.
Ah. If only I had a secluded garden patio like this for tea with my English lit girls. We could discuss the social commentary found in Oscar Wilde books and flatter each other for the latest online purchase we are wearing.
