Realistic Chic

Although I may live in a city of "no fireworks allowed, unless it's Olympics," I love Canada Day! This year is a little different for me. I can't travel to Victoria (on Vancouver Island) to join in on the annual C-Day BBQ - I really miss the guacamole and spinach dip...very Canadian - because I have two nasty essays due this coming tuesday and must complete them before distracting myself for days. In leiu of participating in the fun this year, a few quick pics on my blog of what Canada Day is for me will have to suffice for my celebrations:
